I have always been drawn to the combination of gray and pink. I like the way they can balance each other: the former’s a little moody, and the latter’s a little feminine or a lot girly. Those colors are both very lovely and soft and putting them together just make an outflit even warmer and more cozy. But the duo also does well matched with strong colors such as black and white. From my point of view, you can never go wrong with this nice mix of colors!

Welcome to the crookedest street in the world! San Francisco is well known around the world for its vertigo inducing streets and if one day you are actually visiting them, I would highly recommend you to stop by the Lombard Street. Walking Lombard Street as we did is fun. Lined with pretty flowers around you, it gives you a pleasant and charming atmosphere. Unless you want to queue during hours and hours among all the other tourists, you can also drive down the Lombard Street and get this “zigzag” sensation that most of the people are actually searching when coming to that spot… It’s propably also plenty of fun!

It’s during my wonderful two weeks holidays in California that I discovered the famous and sexy Australian brand Lorna Jane. Generally, I was very impressed about the amount of sports clothing shops you can find in CA, but not only the quantity but also the quality of the clothes. 

Before, I was always unmotivated and discouraged to go training or to the fitness studio and this had a lot to do with the clothes: wearing ugly sport pants that are the opposite of sexiness and 20 years old is not the most attractive thing in the world and you don’t necessarily want to show yourself to anyone wearing those clothes… Lorna Jane revolutionized everything and totally changed my perception of sport… Now, when I go to the gym, I feel comfortable with what I’m wearing and feel more like a woman. “Lorna Jane has given a whole new meaning to staying fit and healthy - it’s a lifestyle that transcends the walls of the gym” and you should definitely try it!

Essie nailpolishes are just excellent! I really recommend them to all of you. I didn’t hesitate to bring some (as many as possible) back from California! Essie has a color for everyone, absolutely everyone! Which is actually the main problem: you want them all and have to stand for hours in the shop until you’ve decide which ones you want to buy… Just take a quick look here and you will understand what I mean… Essie is easy to apply and resists chipping for a long time. “The best way to see the Hollywood Sign is to hike to it!” And that’s what we did… Spontaneously and totally unprepared, I am proud to say that my beautiful dress, my new Michael Kors watch and my Comptoir des Cotonniers black leather purse went on a hiking tour in the most dangerous shortcut ever, filled of cactus and rattlesnakes and in a blazing heat… But we did it and it was again totally worth it!
